Col. Henry P. Dorsett age 52 years, veteran of the Civil War and former farmer and auctioneer, died at his home in Jefferson township Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock.  He had been ill only a short time.  Death was caused by a sudden attack of heart trouble induced by influenza.  Mr. Dorsett during his later years was an active member of the local Post of the GAR and recently had served as its commander.  He was an enlisted man in the Civil War participating in several engagements. Surviving besides the widow are six children: William F of Hall; Mrs. William Smith of Cloverdale; Oscar O of Fairmount, Cal; Mrs. Alva Curtis of Hall; Mrs. Calvin Milhorn of Stilesville and Shirley B of Cloverdale. Two brothers, James M, Joseph of Cloverdale and Mrs. James Hurst of Greencastle also survive. - kbz
